On the heels of the first national title on the gridirons of the Great Lakes State in more than a quarter-century, itās high time to recognize how well the Michigan Wolverines have played of late.
While the schoolās rivals from East Lansing have tailed off in recent years, the Wolverines have reared back to life, with now-former head coach Jim Harbaugh capturing Michiganās first title since 1997 in 2024, before exiting to take the same role with the NFLās Los Angeles Chargers.
While Harbaughās heir apparent (Sherrone Moore) showed some growing pains in his head coaching debut on Saturday against Fresno State, the year ahead is still primed to be one to remember in Ann Arbor, with oddsmakers from DraftKings Sportsbook Michigan giving the Wolverines +900 Big Ten championship odds, ranking fourth behind Ohio State (+145), Oregon (+240) and Penn State (+370).
