WSOP Opening Doors Again To Online Poker Players in Michigan

The World Series of Poker is offering Michigan online poker players a chance at some tournament bracelets and lots of prizes.

The organization that runs the most prestigious poker tournament in the world announced on Sept. 19 that it has released a schedule for WSOP Online 2024. In all, there will be 33 bracelet events available to players in the Great Lakes State, who compete in a shared liquidity poll with counterparts in Nevada and New Jersey.

WSOP Online 2024 runs from Sept. 29 to Nov. 12 and players must be within an eligible state, such as Michigan, to enter. New michigan online casinos have been opening for a few years and include not only poker, but online slots, blackjack and other table games, plus much more.

More About WSOP Online 2024

“Grab your chargers and get ready,” WSOP’s Senior Vice President and Executive Director, Ty Stewart, said in a release. “With legal jurisdictions on both coasts and now in the Midwest with Michigan, most U.S. players should be within a reasonable distance to log onto our network and get in on the action.”

Anyone interested in playing online poker in the Great Lakes State can take advantage of the best Michigan online poker bonuses with us today.

The first online WSOP events, on Sept. 29, are a No Limit Hold’em Deepstack with a $500 buy-in and a No Limit Hold’em Mystery Bounty – with $500,000 in prizes guaranteed – for a $1,000 buy-in.

The World Series of Poker website has complete details and a day-by-day tournament schedule. Other highlights include double bracelet events on Sundays, high roller jackpots and events with buy-ins as low as $333.

In addition to the 33 WSOP bracelets available for Michigan/Nevada/New Jersey participants, a separate player pool in Pennsylvania will have four bracelet events on tap.

WSOP Tradition Encompasses Online Players

The World Series of Poker gives online poker players in Michigan a chance to hone their skills, win real money and even – if they have the skills and stamina – qualify for the long-running WSOP in-person Main Event, which has been held annually in Las Vegas since 1970.

This July, the 2024 Main Event saw Texas-born Jonathan Tamayo win his first title, worth $10 million. He emerged from a field of 10,112 entries, some of whom qualified via online events. Niklas Astedt, an online player from Sweden, made it to the final table this year and came in third, a finish worth $4 million.

Players using our top Michigan casino bonuses can mostly only dream of cashing in for that much, but they can play for real money today and they can learn more about signing up with an operator through BetMichigan.com.
